Plant Tracker is an app I designed to help keep track of their plants as well as get helpful information about them. The first step I took was to research existing plant identification apps in the market. From there, I built the persona of a typical user and the features they would look for in such an app.

Once I had a good idea of what I wanted the app to do, I started wireframing the interface. I used paper and pen to sketch out different layouts and options for each screen of the app. This allowed me to quickly iterate and try out different ideas without worrying about getting bogged down in details.

From there, I moved on to prototyping. I used Figma to create interactive prototypes that I could test with potential users. This allowed me to get feedback on the app’s interface and functionality early on in the process, which was crucial to making sure that the app was user-friendly and intuitive.

While I was working on the prototypes, I also began to develop the visual identity for the app. This involved selecting a color scheme, typography, and creating a logo that would be easily recognizable and memorable. I used the visual identity to create high-fidelity mockups, which allowed me to see how all of the app’s elements would work together in a more detailed and refined way.

Finally, I used Figma to create the final design for the app. This involved refining the details of each screen and making sure that everything was consistent and easy to use. I paid particular attention to the user flow, making sure that users could easily navigate through the app and find the information they were looking for.
